Starshine Ice [Day 102]

FROST SPARKLED IN the moonlight. Bold rays mingled gently with the shadows to create a luminous frozen world. A thin layer of ice – no snow yet – glittered on bark and stone and grass from the residue of leftover crushed starshine that winter sprites ground up for snowflakes and ice. The wood and meadow breathed in the moonlight, milky shadows rippling over every curve and crevice, as if it was a magical world of pure crystal.
