Chthonic Wonderland [Day 103]

WATER OOZED LIKE tears through the soft limestone, delicate drip, drip, drip painting concentric rings on the placid lake. At each touch, a wreath of color expanded, before gently dying out. 

Near its heart, luminous bodies swam through the liquid, flashes of blue or white or green, as they sunk deeper into the aquifer and hunted out tinier passages between the rock.
