Write A Day

or “One Drabble A Day”

On 29 July 2014, I bought a “One Sketch A Day” book. But instead of using it to draw pictures, I used it to write every day (usual in the morning).

Some were just a few sentences and some expanded outside the space allotted. Some were spontaneous and more an exercise of style, while others were glistening gems of stories or nuggets of character development.

Inspired by this idea, I’m continuing the traditional habit this year. I’m hoping eventually to post all of them. As a reminder, they’re partial exercise and development pieces; they’re not supposed to be anything fancy or highly edited. Enjoy them for the flashes of beauty they might expose, like diamonds in the rough.
